Grintafy announces the launch of the Future Stars competition with The Saudi Football Federation

It is with great pride that Grintafy announced their partnership with The Saudi Football federation, to launch (Future Stars) virtual talent discovery Competition, which aims to discover talent in the Kingdom with an age range of 12 to 15 years old, using video technology.The discovered talents will be qualified for tests on-ground, to be trained professionally and to represent the national team in the future.

The project is divided into two phases, where the first phase includes a technical competition on Grintafy platform for a month, during which weekly challenges are presented by the player and documented by video recording, and then uploaded to the competition section on Grintafy app, and then all data is analyzed and reviewed by the Saudi Al-Ittihad team and by the technical team from Grintafy. The players will be selected to enter the voting phase and can win weekly prizes..

The second phase begins a month after the end of the participation period, during which all the filtered players’ videos are evaluated, and the qualified talents will tested on the field in the presence of coaches, experts and specialists before selecting distinguished talents to be future stars.

It is noteworthy that this step comes within the technical transformation, which is one of the tracks of the transformation strategy for Saudi football that was announced recently. This strategy works to adopt technical solutions in the areas of performance and health follow-up within the talent development track, in addition to activating partnerships with leading institutions in the field of sports technologies with the aim of reaching the registration of more than 200,000 players and tracking more than 6 thousand talented people by 2025.
